Sea Dragon Kangaroo Island has received a glowing endorsement from world-famous publishers TIME Magazine for the best places to stay on Kangaroo Island as part of the Time’s ‘World Greatest Places of 2023‘ list.

Our innovative and sustainable sun and rain-fuelled lodgings have caught the interest of the team at Time’s travel department, further supported by nominations from an international network of travel correspondents and travel writers.

To make the list, the bar was set high at an international level with a select number of 50 unique destinations, each featuring recommendations of accommodations and activity providers. A strong commitment to responsible travel and delivering authentic experiences are the new normal when it comes to travel, and our new Ocean View Suites, Ocean View Rooms and renovated Ocean View Villas overlooking the secluded Pink Bay were highlighted as exceeding the requirements to offer sustainable new and exciting experiences.
