Local and delicious

All guests, regardless of room type, will enjoy a premium continental breakfast and a two-course daily dinner, included in their room rate.

We use as much island and South Australian produce as possible and pride ourselves on supporting local farmers and purveyors of great food. In particular, our lamb and most of our seafood comes from island providers and native herbs and edible plants are grown on our land.

Where possible, we emphasize native ingredients found exclusively in Australia to delight and surprise guests while at the same time not straying from the comforts of a delicious, satisfying meal.

We also cater to most dietary requirements, however, do require notification at the time of booking. As we do not wish to contribute to the global problem of food wastage, we provide a nightly set menu to choose from.

Beer, wine and non-alcoholic drinks are included during dinner service and can be purchased during other times or for in-room consumption.

Seafood platter

Pre-book a delicious and fresh seafood platter dinner.

Kangaroo Island and South Australia have some of the best seafood in the world and we enjoy showcasing the variety of seafood on offer. As such, a selection of seasonal seafood served chilled with homemade condiments and fresh bread may include lobster or marron, prawns or crab, oysters or mussels, pickled octopus or calamari, and smoked fish. The exact composition of the platter will vary with seasonality and availability.
